Budget Battles

With $900 million less in the pocketbook, the fight over how to craft a budget has the potential to make WWE Wrestlemania look like child’s play as negotiations between the House and Senate, between the Republicans and Democrats, and within the Republican party are starting to heat up. 
 
On Monday, we expect the House Republican Appropriations Chairman, Rep. Leslie Osborn to propose a budget plan that will contain several tax increase proposals. The House Democrats outlined their proposal two weeks ago, with $1.4 billion in revenue-raising measures. While there is no clear consensus at this point, it will be interesting to see where the differing sides may meet.
